I am Erica Gonzales, a 24 year old college student attending UTSA, that loves to express myself through writing. Im using this blog as my diary, my escape, and my little paradise. My dream is to become a kinder teacher, just like my mother. I currently have an associate in Arts EC-6th and am a year away from my BA. I'm not afraid of my goals, my dreams, and battling my own deamons. I am thankful for my wonderful family and the friends who believe in me and encourage me to keep sewing.

Sew Chatty Tutorial for Ruffle Headband

I am so excited to show you my new headbands!  I used Sew Chatty's tutorial to learn how to make these adorable headbands.  I love all her products.  She is so talented and comes up with great ideas.  You can follow her blog at http://sewchatty.blogspot.com/.  I have to admit that I am a headband FREAK! So, these new additions to my collection are perfect.  I purchased my fabric from The Fabric Shop, which has an Etsy shop.  Take a look at their beautiful fabric, http://www.etsy.com/shop/fabricshoppe?ref=pr_shop_more.  It took me about an hour to make each headband.  I made myself a little set up, using my new foldable sewing table that I got on sale for $70 at Joanns Fabrics.  Im happy to finally put it to use.
